UK AGILE AWARDS 2011

In true Agile spirit, we built upon our first year's success and last year's UK Agile Awards Dinner was a splendid evening of truly celebrating the many areas of excellence in the Agile field.  220 guests attended the year's event at The Cumberland Hotel, Marble Arch on Wednesday 5th October 2011, and after a drinks reception gathered in The Ocean Room to enjoy a three course meal before the eagerly awaited Awards Ceremony began.

The process may have begun back in April 2011with the nomination period but all eyes were on the stage for the evenings announcements of who won what.  Many familiar faces from last year, were joined by fresh ones; Representatives from a good cross-section of indepenent developers, large organisations, Specialist Consultancies, Government departments, Media, and of course our trusted Agile Luminaries without whom the event would surely have less gravitas.

A good time was had by all, and judging by the ever increasing volume as the evening progressed, people took the opportunity to truly celebrate the Agile Community.
